KAIST Scholarship Application Timeline – 2026

Step-by-Step Application Process

Follow these steps carefully to submit a complete and strong application.

Step 1 – Create Your Online Account

Go to the official KAIST admissions website:

Create a new account with your email. You’ll receive a confirmation email and login link.

Step 2 – Fill in the Online Form

Complete your personal, academic, and contact details. You will need to:

  • Choose your intended major
  • Provide school and grade information
  • Add your extracurricular activities
  • Fill in your test scores (if available)

Make sure everything is correct before moving forward.

Step 3 – Upload Required Documents

You’ll need to prepare and upload scanned copies of:

For Undergraduate:

  • High school transcript
  • Graduation certificate or expected graduation letter
  • English test scores (optional but helpful)
  • One recommendation letter
  • Statement of purpose
  • Passport scan

For Graduate:

  • University transcripts (bachelor’s/master’s)
  • Degree certificates
  • English test scores (TOEFL, IELTS, or similar)

Step 4 – Pay the Application Fee

After uploading your files, you will be asked to pay the non-refundable fee:

  • Undergraduate: Around 80 USD
  • Graduate: Around 100 USD

You can pay using a credit or debit card.

Step 5 – Submit Your Application

Double-check all your details. Once you submit, you can’t make changes.

You will get a confirmation email after submitting. Keep a copy of this for your records.

Step 6 – Wait for Evaluation and Results

KAIST will review your documents and contact you if an interview is needed. Most students are selected without interviews, especially at the undergraduate level.

Final results will be posted on the portal or emailed to you.
