About The Scholarship
The KAIST Graduate Scholarship helps talented students from other countries. You do not need a separate application for funding. When you get admitted the university will automatically consider you for these programs.
The main funding programs are

Who Can Apply for KAIST 2026 Spring Intake?
- Open to international students only (non-Korean citizens).
- Master’s applicants need a bachelor’s degree.
- PhD applicants need a master’s degree.
- If you are in your final year of study you can still apply. You will need a document that states your expected graduation date.
- Language requirements:
- TOEFL iBT score of 83
- IELTS score of 6.5
- TOEIC score of 720
- TEPS score of 326
- You might not need a test score. You can get a waiver if you studied in an English speaking country. You can also get a waiver if your previous university degree was taught entirely in English.
