The UNESCO 12th Youth Leadership Workshop 2026 is a fully funded 5-day international conference in Seoul, South Korea, from June 8–12, 2026. It brings together 40 young leaders from ODA recipient countries to focus on Global Citizenship Education (GCED) under the theme “Translating Peace into Action: Leveraging Media and the Arts for Youth Advocacy”. You get round-trip airfare, accommodation, meals, and local transport fully covered. There is no application fee and no IELTS required. Applications close on 26 March 2026. You may also UST Scholarships 2026 at University of Science and Technology in South Korea.

About UNESCO Youth Leadership Workshop 2026
This workshop is organized by UNESCO to train young people to promote peace, sustainability and global citizenship in their communities. You join 40 selected leaders from developing countries to learn advocacy skills through media arts and creative tools. The program includes workshops, discussions, field visits and group projects. You get to meet experts, share ideas and build a network. After the workshop you can take what you learn back home and create real change. It is completely free so anyone with passion can apply.

Eligibility Criteria
- You must be from an ODA recipient country (check the full list here).
- You must be born between 1998 and 2007 (age 18–27 in 2026).
- You need at least 2 years of active experience in youth activities or GCED work.
- You must be able to speak and understand English well (no test needed).
- You should show strong interest in peace sustainability and global citizenship.
- Both male and female candidates can apply.
