The GSK is a fully funded program for students from Sub-Saharan Africa to study a Master’s at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in the UK. It pays full tuition a living allowance of GBP 22,000, accommodation, health insurance and more. The goal is to train future health leaders who will help solve problems like malnutrition and disease in Africa. You must return home after to use your skills. Applications close on March 2027. About the GSK Scholarship
GSK and LSHTM work together to help African students study global health. The program trains people who want to fight diseases and improve health systems. You study in London with top teachers and researchers. You learn about public health, tropical medicine and policy. After you finish you go back home to make change. It is for students who cannot pay for study on their own.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for this scholarship, you must meet all these conditions:
- You must be a citizen of a sub-Saharan African country and currently living there.
- You must confirm (through the online scholarship form) that you cannot afford the program without this funding.
- You must plan to return to sub-Saharan Africa after finishing your MSc at LSHTM.
- You must have a first degree with at least a first-class or upper second-class equivalent.
- You must already hold an admission offer for 2027 for one of LSHTM’s London-based intensive MSc programs.
- You must meet LSHTM’s English language requirement by 15 June 2027.
- If you do not meet it by this date, your scholarship offer may be cancelled.
Preference Will Be Given To:
